Friday Relaxation: Made it through the week.

Hey everyone,

Just stopped by to do a short post! Today is FRIDAY!! This was a hard week for me, I haven’t been feeling the best, but I decided to buckle down and get done what needs to be done… patient care doesn’t stop because you’re sick. My asthma has been giving me problems but I’m on the right medication now and I’m starting to feel much better 🙂

Today was a good day!

A coworker has some car trouble so she called me at 7 am and asked if I could pick her up before work. I did, grabbed some breakfast, and headed on to work. It was a laid back day. I got some charts done and started a new knitting project! I’ve only knitted ONE time before and that was a 45 min lesson. Luckily, I pick up on things easily… so after a few mistakes, I’m well on my way to making a cute hat! Hopefully it’ll be wearable for the spring/fall when I want to protect my hair or just want a new style.

Came home from work jumped on my treadmill to get in a workout because… well, it just makes me feel better! I try to do 10,000 steps per day. Today I did 40 mins on the treadmill and 25 on my spin bike. I added in some squats and arm exercises and called it a day.  I’m changing up my fitness routine and working on adding new healthy foods to my diet… so hopefully that will keep me healthy throughout the rest of spring. Trying to increase my immunity so I can fight off some of this pollen, allergies, and asthma.
