I hope you all had an amazing day! Today, I’m thankful that God so loved the world that he gave His only son! And Jesus so loved us that He died, was buried, and rose again!
Because He died, we LIVE!
I went to brunch with some friends today and then explored my city!! I’m not sure how long I’ll be living here so I’m trying to enjoy all I can while I’m here. 🙂 happy Easter!
We went to this cute place Downtown called “6th and Vine”. We decided to have Brunch and hopefully will be doing this monthly! Appetizers were ordered (Brie with fruit and Fried Green Tomatoes.) I’ve never had FGT before… It had GOAT CHEESE on it and I am firmly against goat cheese. LOL. I scraped off as much as I could but I still ate some of it (it wasn’t bad). I really liked the Fried green tomatoes more than I expected.
We each ate 1 Fried green tomato and 1/3 of the Brie. YUMMY!!!! For brunch, I had french toast, cheese grits, fruit, and home fries. We had NO clue fruit and home fries were included. I ate less than half of it, but it was very good. I’ll definitely eat there again (after I run a few more miles to balance off the calories! haha). Then we split a bottle of wine [1/2 price on Sunday!!]. I only drank ONE glass because I don’t really enjoy Red wine all that much. All and All we had this entire brunch for LESS than $25 and I have another 2 days worth of food! That’s what I call a good time!
I’ve developed a philosophy: I eat enjoyable food that tastes delicious in MODERATE amounts, rarely finish whats on my plate (then I get left overs for the next day too) AND then I work out in an enjoyable fashion (running, kick boxing, dance, etc)!
Thanking God for another chance to enjoy this thing called LIFE!

What a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon! When your work schedule won't allow a visit to home for the holiday, it is wonderful to have a few friends whose company you enjoy. You always have such a positive attitude. It is infectious! Thank you for sharing!
